Nope, the 1600 is a great CPU. Shan't bottleneck that GPU in the slightest, although if you're focus is mainly gaming you'd probably want a i7-7700K or wait a bit for CoffeeLake.

yes, it will last 3-4 years as a good CPU. The really good thing is Ryzen and AM4 will be staying for 3 years at least. So there will be lots of upgrade options if you need to change the CPU

Personally, I'd say if you're rendering, get one of the 8-core Ryzens. You'll appreciate the time saved in rendering alone. You'll get the added bonus of more cores and threads for streaming (for thread optimized games, this will matter).
