thinking to get a better gaming performance currently using ryzen 2700 and planning to go for either intel I9 10900k or ryzen 7 5800x any suggestions for this will i get any change in the fps or it will get bottlenecked?

Will a RYZEN 5800x bottleneck my 1080ti? No.

Your 2700 should actually be fine with your 1080ti.

What performance do you seem to be lacking?

Was getting alot of gps drops games so thought of upgrading my CPU as i think the GPU is still worth of gaming high end games. Do u recommend upgrading both CPU AND GPU? To3080 or 3070 which would not kill my pocket
