Will a second monitor work?

I have a MSI NVIDIA GTX 470 1.25GB. My current monitor is using the mini HDMI port. The port next to it is a VGA port i believe. I want to know if I hook my extra tv up to my computer with the VGA can my graphics card support a dual monitor?

those are dvi ports, and yes you support 2 monitors. I just looked on the nvidia site.
