Well, title says it all. I have a i5 3570 and I'm looking to buy a new motherboard with a 1150 socket so i can use it when i7 4790k in future. So my question is if my socket 1155 processor will be able to fit in to this new socket?

No, and I leant it myself- in which could be a very expensive mistake xD
I got an 1150 MoBo and accidentally ordered a wrong socket CPU (was meant to get Intel Core i7 4770K- got something else on 1155 by a mistake).
So when I was building the PC, I popped the 1155 on to the socket, thought it was aligned, pushed down the lever, and if I had pushed harder I would have smashed it xD
Carefully took it out and replaced for what I intended to buy xD If I remember correctly the 1155 is actually physically bigger.

Maybe that was it, it was nearly two years ago, so I could have forgotten the details. I remember that it was a near fit, and yeah the notch wasn't where it was supposed to be... I put it in, tried to lock and thought to myself WTF, am I doing something wrong? Then I looked at the CPU box and realized it wasn't the model I wanted to buy... haha...
