Hi, quick question that I would be very grateful of any input for.
I've just made a fresh install of win 8.1 onto a new SSD and now I have everything up and running 100% decided to create a system image using win 8.1's own utility (system image backup / create a system image) along with a bootable USB recovery drive.
I've just realised that in the near future I will be upgrading my GFX card from a nVidia GTX 470 to a GTX 980 and wondered if this minimal hardware upgrade would ruin the potential chance of a successful image restore?
Ideally I don't want to have to make another image in a few months time as my PC will likely have excess and unwanted files on it by then that I'd rather not have restored.
Again, any help from anyone who knows a definite answer or who may have had past experience is greatly welcomed and appreciated.
Cheers
