worked for a amd 965----gtx 460 2win build will it work for fx-8350 gtx 4602win the card used like 450+ watt at full load according to some sites.

Need to know this asap or I will have to order a new psu

Solution
also figure all your drives in to this too. dvd, hdd, ssd, usb devices, fans, anything that draws power from the psu needs to be figured in also. I figure you Have a max of 60W (because you cant count on your PSU to put out a full 650w) to play with for the items I mentioned above. I say its too close.

edit: Example i have 8 fans in my case and if they all draw 3W that's 24W just for fans dvd will draw 5-10 watts. my ssd draws 3W and hdd draws say 5W (because i cant fined exact wattage for it) now using the lowest numbers that is 37W leaving 23W left. I would not do it but my system is different for power usage.
wow i think it will be close. to close for my liking.

here is my thought. a system with same cpu and a 680 drew 218W full cpu load. now you will be removing the 680 lowering that figure. you say that you card is about 450W. 218+450=668 but remember you have removed the 680 out of the equation. The PSU says 650W but most likely only puts out 625W.

as you can see the math is very close and it is always better to have extra then not enough. I say do a 750W just to be safe.

according to reviews the 8350 can use 210 and the gpu 450+

Stop comparing it to a 460 tge 2win eats more power

doesn't this answer your question right here? 450+210=660W and if the 2win goes over then you ar looking at what? 670-680W like I mentioned befor it is better to safe then sorry go for a 750W and you will be set for your next set of cards also. weather they are SLI/CrossFire or a 2 in 1 like you have. 650W is a bit close considering it will put out around 625 or so. you don't want to push the upper limits of a PSU anyways. Don't forget at boot the system draws more than what it does to run all be it only for a very short time.

Thanks everyone. Last question it powered a amd 965 be overclocked and the same card fine i didnt knoe if the 965 used less power or what

they may say it puts out 1000W but I personally would like to see it.

This is a great selection you have picked. more than enough amps on the 12V rail at 70A and more than enough wattage for your needs. 80 Gold certified also.
