will a UPS help

once every few weeks my pc will freeze and reboot randomly without BSOD, had a 1250W psu and the total watt usage of my pc is 400W under load, done all testing and pass,

the only thing i had yet to do is change my psu which i dont have a 2nd spare, isolate pc power which is impossible ( 1 plug only in my room)

( this happen after i had my audio system install dac+amp and speaker, also a electric heater plugged into belkin 8 outlet surge protector and use a total of 900W)

Will a ups dedicated to my pc help ?

Wouldn't hurt so sure give it a try. This one doesn't cover the full draw of your 1250w but if your system is only pulling 400 watts should work great.

hmm cyberpower is kind of hard to get in france, here is much easier to get APC, eaton, fsp or infosec

Wow price is crazy on even the low end power versions. The tripp lite may be the best best choice for the price but that is high.

The cyberpower unit seem to be 120v unit which wont work on france who uses 230v

For now i am looking at eaton ellipse pro 1200va 750w, as for APC it seem that their product wasn't as good as in the past

Any other recommendations?

The eaton ellipse pro 1200va 750w isn't one I can make a suggestion on as mostly its only got french reviews. It does seem to have a fair user rating on Amazon so that is something.

I can tell you the tripp lite is a good product but is a bit on the high side.

The best APC I think is the BR1200GI for the price. It has a 30min run time on half voltage and about 10mins on full load. Thing is tho the price is pretty high.

just use a good powersupply, protects your whole system.
and if it gets a shock it usually gets replaced by the company .

and in worst case scenario your psu is dead, but it will protect your components and jsut get a new good psu.
