Will a USB hub's transfer speed change if I replace it's original usb cable?

So I bought a 7 port usb 3.0 hub, now the problem is, the usb cable that is included with the usb hub is to short to even reach the back of my desktop, since I plan on mounting the hub under my desk so I thought about buying a replacement cable, same usb 3.0 cable but longer, but if I do that will it change the transfer speed of the USB hub? Since I'm gonna replace it's original usb cable.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Iver Hicarte, there is a certain criteria for transfer rates after a set length (think its 6 feet) but below that there should not be any difference if the cable you get is of good quality.

One post with both questions probably would have been suitable.

It shouldn't as long as the cable length doesn't exceed the USB 3.0 recommendation:
"the maximum practical length is 1.3 meters (4.3 ft)"

Otherwise if it has the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed badge it should be good.
