Hi all.
I have a poor connection to a network, that sometimes even disconnects. But, often it works great. Indeed, in most places of the house it works rather nice, but exactly where I usually keep my Laptop, the connection is poor. 1m away it is much much better.
So, I was wondering if something like
https://www.amazon.co.uk/1200Mbps-A...s=wifi+range+dual+band&qid=1592853365&sr=8-45
will help. Will it be better than an inbuilt one? Or are they just a waste of money? Also, is it worth spending like 30 pounds, or even 50 on them? Or are they all the same?

I know, repeater is best!!!!! but I can not use it due to how my wifi is set up ( I directly asked my internet providers. It sadly will not work).

Cheers

Actually, IMO repeater is not best. That just introduces more latency and cuts bandwidth. Best is Ethernet, and next best is high quality MOCA or AV2-1000 or better powerline. Some of the newer powerline kits come with built in wireless and Ethernet on the distant module like THIS model.

Thank you very much, it does look interesting. The thing is, I am basically trying to connect to a public wifi and I am not sure if it will work with it. That is why I want to know, if the above will work, cause that should work with an wifi.
