Will adding a PCIE USB card effect the speed of PCIE Graphics card?

Not really sure how PCIE works. I have a GTX 1070 on PCIE on my new build. I am running a little shy of USB ports. I want to get a 4 port USB (Includes 1 SATA as well) card. The one I found is PCIE. Will adding this to a free PCIE slot slow down/effect the video card performance? Just wondering since I know if you add an addition video card, it goes from 16x to 8x, but not sure if that is the same logic for addon cards etc. Thanks

Yeah Not sure what that really means above lol. Just did not know if it would drop the video card to 8x instead of 16x.

you will be fine. It wont drop your pcie 16x to 8x

Made a mistake. The one I would need is for the longer pcie slot (Not sure the exact name of that type?) Same size as the video card.
