[SOLVED] Will adding a simple USB WiFi dongle enable miracast on my Win10 PC ?

So I have Win10 installed on my Desktop PC. It says that it isnt miracast capable. Will adding a USB WiFi dongle allow me to cast video from my phone to my PC ? If not, how can i stream video from my smartphone to my desktop PC which is connected to a TV ? Any help is appreciated.

It's not "miracast capable", simply because your desktop does not have WiFi.
Get a WiFi dongle and it should work.
