Will adding a sshd slow down my laptop's boot time (already have a 256 GB ssd installed)?

So I recently bought this laptop

It has a ssd included but it's not enough space. I've read that when people add a hdd it slows down their boot time and computer speed in general. So my question is that if i add a sshd

Will it affect my laptop from running off my ssd.

If it actually has a second HDD slot, no a second SSD will not slow it down

will it fit ?
the only reason it would slow down your boot time is if it had initiate an additional controller such as a raid device in order to work it other wise no won't slow it down.
