Will adding an HDD damage my pre existing software?

I want to add extra storage to my one year old windows ten pc, will adding another one affect my preexisting hard drive?

There should be no negative consequences for adding a second drive. Make sure you power down the computer and disconnect the power from your computer before attempting to install the drive. Adding a second drive for storage should be a fairly straight forward and easy process. Also make sure to double check the connections before reconnecting the power and booting the computer.
