[SOLVED] Will Alder Lake support pci-e 3 storage like Samsung 980?

Hello,
I've ordered from Amazon the Samsung 980 (not the pro version) which is pci-e 3 because I thought about buying a computer now, but eventually I decided to wait for about 2 months and but an Alder Lake based system.
Since Alder Lake will support pci-e 5, I was wondering if it'll be compatible with the 980 I ordered?
I'm aware that no everything is known yet, but maybe there's information about this subject.

Yes, PCIe is backward compatible. Your 3.0 drive will work in a 5.0 slot. Just at 3.0 speeds.
