actually the CX series is a very high performance and good quality psu series, they offer a platinum rating which gives it excellent durability

No, this is not true. The Cx500 and CX600 use low quality capacitors and are only bronze rated. NO CX units are platinum rated. Sorry.

The XFx550 is a WAY better unit. It is a re-branded seasonic.
