Will AM3+ Cpu Coolers fit on Am3 Socket?

Its just a pain trying to find a cpu cooler for am3 right now, will am3+ fit?

Yes. All AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, FM2+, FM2, FM1 retention brackets are the same... including the mounting holes for the retention bracket if you need to remove it for a cooler that has its own mounting hdwr.

Note: The exception to my above statement is the AM4 retention bracket's mounting holes. They are spaced differently than the previous generations' sockets.
