[SOLVED] Will AMD fidelityfx work on MSI HD 7970?

So i just bought the msi hd 7970 and I was thinking if AMD fidelityfx would work on a really old card back in 2012. You guys think it would work?

As of now, FSR is supported on the Radeon RX 6000 and 6000M series; RX 5000 and 5000M series; Radeon VII; Radeon Vega series; RX 600, RX 500, and select RX 400 models; as well as all desktop and mobile Ryzen APUs. On the green side, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 and 20 series as well as the GTX 16 series and GTX 10 series are supported.

Looks like (right now at least) it wont be supported

AMD recently announced end of support for GCN based GPUs, including the HD 7000 series beginning with version 21.6.1 So it's not going to get (official) FSR support.

I think it should work since FSR is implemented on the game. But if there is issues with FSR that can only be fixed from driver updates then you're going to miss those.

That would be nice, I just get the feeling, they won't be supported at all.
Let's hope not.
