Thinking about upgrading gpu, wondering if my 6300 will bottleneck, I currently have it overclocked at 4.0 ghz
Also have 8gb of 1866hz ram

Edit: And if it would bottleneck, would upgrading to an 8350 solve the issue?

If you can take your OC to more like 4.3-4.5Ghz you'll probably be ok. You might even be ok at 4.0 depending on what you play and at what settings but you would be far less likely with a little more clock. Depending on what cooler and motherboard you have, it shouldn't be that difficult to hit 4.3 and 4.5 is usually attainable as well with the right cooling and motherboard.

According to almost all the benchmarks out there, the GTX 970 is out-performing the GTX 780 which a FX 6300 can bottleneck, I'm not sure if a 4.0Ghz OC would make much of a difference.
