Not really. The 1060 6gb will play nearly all modern games at 1080p 60fps at max or very high settings. The A8 6600k is under the minimum recommended cpu for most/all recent AAA games so regardless of which GPU you choose the performance will not be good. It's a good modern GPU with an old weak CPU.

What's your point, that's a 6+ year old game? Try playing a modern AAA game and see what happens.

Not if it has to be FM2 socket, that is 4 cpu socket generations old now. Are you upgrading an existing pc?

Wait until you can upgrade to a modern platform. I really wouldn't put any more money into an older platform like this.

I mean motherboard/RAM platform. Any decent upgrade needs a new cpu/motherboard/RAM combo. Modern CPU's use DDR4 and different cpu sockets.

Why not speccy, to be honest I have never had a need for such software so I don't know of others to recommend.
