Will an AMD FX 8320 work with MSI 760GM-P21?

Hey everyone ,
So I'm planning on upgrading my CPU from a AMD FX 4170 to a FX 8320 and was wondering if my motherboard would work with this CPU. I've done some research and found that both CPUs use an AM3+ socket and both use 125W, but a friend was saying that it may not work despite the power a socket requirements being the same. Is this true or will it work fine?

Just remember to update BIOS with the old CPU attached.

If you click this link, there's no FX - 8320 sadly. But doing some research, yes you will be able to use it (MSI official). You just need to flash your bios to the 7641h6 I believe. You are pushing it though with that motherboard, I'd suggest an fx 6300 maybe. Or you can try your luck with the 8320.
