Will an AMD FX4350 pair with GTX 1060SSC 6GB

Wondering if I buy the FX4350 to use with ASRock 960GM-GS3 and EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB ACX 3.0, and Hyper X Fury 1x8GB

Will they all work together

First option is easily the better option as the cpu is the better option for gaming. The 2nd option the motherboard is poor and has been known to have thermal and power problems.

Intel is too expensive. What if I were to go with a beefed up stick of 1800mhz Hyper X Fury and an FX4350, with the ASRock mobo

ram speed won't help you much. granted some newer games do use ram speed more so then in the past. Racing games have always performed better with faster ram but now games like fallout 4 do better with faster ram too, a newish thing in gaming. As a whole though your CPU is still to under powered. If you must go with AMD for price I again encourage you to get an FX 8320 or better CPU)

ram would do nothing, an amd build is not recommended nowadays it is a obsolete dead end

wait for the release of Zen, or

make an i3 6100 build with a gtx 1050 ti

for the most part he is right.

On the current motherboard either one of those 125w octo core cpus would likely run into throttling issues due to the weak VRMs. Which is likely why Asrock left them off the boards cpu support list. Infact the FX 4350 is also not on the list.

good spot i missed that. my apologies. regardless the CPU mentioned is under powered for the GPU he wishes to run. At this point the OP needs to rethink his whole mobo cpu combo. what is your budget maybe we can help with that?

i5-6500 @3. 2ghz
Asus H170M-PLUS
CRUCIAL 8GB 1x8 DDR4 2133

-Or-

AMD FX 8370 @ 4ghz
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
MSI 970A-G43 Plus

-WITH-
480GB SSD
1TB @7200 HDD
Cooler master hyper t2 HEATSINK

I have a Thermaltake Commander MSi case, GTX 1060SSC, AMD FX4100 (Possibly fried), and a ASRock 960GM-GS3, 8gb 1333mhz ram, and my budget is 400. I don't want to upgrade the ram if I have to

first option easily

i really feel you should make a new post with your budget and ask for help building a gaming setup
