I really need a new CPU, im using a FX 4300 quad core which is a pretty bad CPU i guess, some games i cant even run on minimum because of it, and now i'm thinking of buying an AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, is it worth it and can it fit/work with my motherboard/baseboard? Im extremely low on budget too. Any advice or help?

Solution

Solution
You have an old GPU as well. HD 7800 isn't specific. Is it an HD 7850, 7870, etc.? The point is you still might not get 60fps because of your GPU. You can install MSI Afterburner and use the on-screen display to monitor CPU and GPU usage while playing a game. If the CPU is maxed out and the GPU is not, then you can benefit from a better CPU. If it's the other way around, then you need a better GPU. You may even need both.
