Will an Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Graphics Card be compatible with my current motherboard?

currently i have a nvidia geforce GT 520 1gb graphics card and want to upgrade to Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Graphics Card (2GB GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0, HDMI, DVI-I, VGA). My motherboard's model is P5QL and was made by ASUSTek, not sure if you need more information about it but i would like to know if this is compatibe with my current motherboard and if not any suggestion for a graphics card, thanks

Your motherboard has a PCI-E x16 slot, that means it's compatible. I'd be more worried about your power supply, what's the exact model of your PSU?

Which one of these is the GTX 650 we're talking about?

The first GPU needs a 6-pin PCI-E power connector so make sure you have one of those.

That requires at least one of those connectors in the picture above. You have one of those coming out of your PSU, right?

Can you check that? It's vital to know if you have a 6-pin.

In that case you'll need an adapter, although a new PSU might be a good idea.
