Will an Asus r9 270x work with my PC?

Hi guys, I was wondering if an Asus R9 270x would work in my computer.

My specs are:

-AMD A8 7650k
-MSI a78m-e35 Motherboard
-EVGA 500w SU 80+ Bronze
-8gb RAM

I don't intend to do any overclocking.

Also. Do you know if it will fit a CiT Vanquish Red case?
