Will an Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080 RGB lighting work with a Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7 Mobo?

As the title states. I currently have a Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7 Mobo and want to get the Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080. Will the Strix's lighting work with the Gigabyte RGB Fusion software? If it won't, I'll get the Gigabyte RGB 1080 card. I'd rather have the Asus, has better aesthetics imo.

The RGB wont work with the motherboards software, but it will work with the ASUS software.

Does that mean I'll need two pieces of software to sync the rgbs up or will the card have it's own lighting that won't match the rest of the build?

AFAIK they wont really sync up, you can set them to the same colors etc, but if they are set to cycle it probably wont match.

Ok then. I'll probably pass on the Asus card and get the Gigabyte instead. There about the same price and performance. I guess aesthetics will be about equal if the lights work better on the Gigabyte card while the Asus card looks marginally better. Thanks!
