Question Will an ATX motherboard fit in Gateway DX4840?

Looking to upgrade my Gateway pc which uses a micro atx mobo, but will a standard atx mobo work?

No. A Micro ATX chassis is not large enough for an ATX motherboard. At best you could put in another Micro ATX.

On the positive side, the gateway appears to be standard Micro ATX and not BTX or some terrible proprietary board.
