That's quite sad, thank you i guess my mobo's pcie does not support any device as bootable device, i wonder if it will support sata 3 adapter through pcie 2.0 x1 though instead, because my mobo only have sata 2Sorry to say but I tried and tested this method in my Gigabyte H110M DS2.
It Detected as Drive but it can't boot OS through adapter..
But you can use M.2 SSD as Gaming Drive.
Thank you, i guess i'll just go for a regular ssd thenBecause of old gen motherboard. You can't able to boot through PCI devices..
Still SATA 2 is fast enough you can enjoy your PC With SSD
