Will an extension lead bottleneck my PSU?

I'm thinking of using an extension lead to hide my PC's power cable and my monitor's power cable behind my desk. So can I use a 2-plug extension lead with my monitor and PC or will the PSU be bottlenecked this way? My PSU is 450w and my monitor is an AOC i2369VM. Thanks in advance.

An AC extension cord, of appropriate wire size (16 gauge or larger) won't make any difference.
