Will an HP Windows 7 upgrade COA work with a Dell computer?

I recently bought an HP laptop, and I received a windows 7 upgrade kit. I was wondering if I could use the code on the COA that was included to install on my dell computer?

Odds are it will not work. Usually the lcienses for (large) OEM's are tied to the OEM install disk which is then tied to a set of MoBo's. All keys do not work with all CD's, which I've learned from experience.
