Will an i5 6400 bottleneck gtx 1070 SLI?

thinking about getting gtx 1070 in SLI. wondering if I need to upgrade my CPU to meet its demands

The i5 6400 Is Skylake 6th Generations Processor Socket Lga 1151 Which Clocked At 2.7 ghz Up To (turbo Boost To) 3.3 Ghz With 6Mb Cache

I Dont Think This Cpu Will bottleneck Ur Gpu

But I Think We Should Ask Another Question ? Can This Cpu Answer My Needings IN Higher Than Fhd Resolution Specially For AAA Gamings ?

The Cpu U Mentioned Is Good Enough To Work Perfect With Ur Gtx 1070 (Sli) In Fhd Resolution Specially In Games ! Heavy Games Like Bf1 And Witcher III .
But On The Qhd Resolution Or 4k Resolution U Need A Better Cpu And The Performance Of The Gpu And The Fps On The Games (If U want To Play Games With This Gpu) Will Be Decreased Because Of Ur Cpu 🙁

So Until Fhd (1080p) No Problem No need To Change

It depends on the game and resolution. If 1080p and a game like bf1 it'll probably bottleneck a single 1070 much less 2 in sli. Even 1440p with 1070's in sli will probably be held back a bit in that game. There's no easy answer though generally speaking the 6400 is one of the weakest i5's. Slow core speed is going to be an issue in several titles. You'll probably want a fast i5 or an i7.
