I found this PC that I am considering buying but I was wondering if an i5 7500 would have good performance (1440p at 60 FPS) with a GTX 1080 Ti

Solution
Ah, the EVGA GQ's are good. Ideally you would want to opt for upgrading to a SSD and 16GB of RAM. I'm not familiar with the computer prices in the UK, so I don't know if that PC represents a good value, or if you'd be better off building it on your own.

The 1080Ti is a little over the top for 1440p 60Hz, its better suited to 1440p 144Hz or 4k 60Hz. However the i5 is great for gaming <100 fps but personally I feel a Ryzen 1500 or 1600 are better investments than any i5.

I'd say that pc is aimed at 4k gaming but it will do brilliantly at 1440p 60Hz but you may not be able to utilise the 1080Ti to its full potential or at least not until games get a bit more gpu demanding.
