6700k is 6th gen, 8700k is 8th gen. 6700k You need like a Z170. The link you shows us is a H370.

You can upgrade to an 8700k on this board. (might need a better cooler).

This is wrong. The board is limited to 65 watt TDP. The 8700k is 95 watts.
