[SOLVED] Will an imported mobo from USA be compatible?

I want to buy the Asus ProArt Z690 Creator-WiFi but it is only available (new) on Amazon in USA.

If I get this, will this be compatible with the components I buy in Aus? Are there BIOS / voltage / connectivity differences in motherboards sold O/S?

Other than mounting backwards, because of you being in the southern hemisphere, it will work.

I am in Australia. The Amazon.au website indicated it is available but on Amazon in USA.

I kinda thought there might be PSU issues but I thought most modern PSUs would rectify any voltage differences?

There will be no compatibility issues with power. Not a concern at all.

WIFI could be an issue. The allowed WIFI channels vary by country. It could be possible to have your router on a WIFI channel that your US motherboard doesn't support.

I am old. Yes older PSUs have a switch 110/220 Volt. But never PSUs do not have that switch but they are Active PFC. Forget what I wrote.

I hate absolutes.... not all current PSU's lack it but ones using a switch to convert voltage should be avoided. For more reasons than just the convenience of automatic matching to the power source.

Just keep this in mind , whether 120v or 220v that only concerns the inbound voltage. What the PSU provides to system components is managed by the PSU to provide ATX standard power to the system on the outbound side.
