[SOLVED] Will an M + B key work on M key?

Hi,

I purchased a new m.2 sata ssd for my computer. However, my motherboard has a M key slot while my ssd has M+B key. Will it work?

Please advise. Thanks so much in advanced!
I don't think that is going to work.
Your ssd is sata and that m.2 slot seems to be nvme.

Look closely at the specs.

For 2242/2260/2280 PCIE X2 SSD

Now refer to the vendor list for that motherboard.

vendor storage list.

You will notice only two listed

SamsungMZ-HPV2560\SATA600N/APCIE SSDN/A
KingstonSHPM2280P2/240G\SATA600N/APCIE SSDN/A

That should clearly answer the question.
