Will an Nvidia GT 710 fit in my computer?

I have two computers (long, irrelevant story, I'll explain if you really want me to), both with an Nvidia GPU, one with the 315, and one with the 210. Are these cards interchangeable with the Nvidia GT 710? The current cards both have trouble with nearly anything that's more GPU intensive than Minecraft.

I'd also like some advice as to whether or not I should get this particular card at all, or if I should get a different one instead.
I want to use the new card to record gameplay for my Youtube channel, and I am planning to play games like Bioshock Infinite, Minecraft and a bunch of Source engine games (Portal 2, Garry's mod, etc). Right now, I only get about 45 fps on high settings while not recording.

I am currently only in reach of the pc with the 210 card, so here are the specs for that one:

  • ■ Motherboard: imedia s3810
    ■ Processor: intel core i5 CPU 650 @3.20 GHz
    ■ RAM: 4GB
    ■ OS: Win10 64bit
    ■ Monitor: 1360x768 @60Hz (I plan on recording full screen)

The specs for the other computer should be similar, but I'll post the exact specs for that one as soon as I am near it again anyway.

The GT 710 is shorter than the 315 (4.50" vs 6.6" respectively), so it should fit into your PC just fine.

Personally, I'd spend an extra $30 and get the GT 730 instead. I think it will last longer and give you allot more performance for your dollar than the 710. The GT 710 can barely compete with modern integrated graphics.
Your old Clarkdale CPU should be able to keep up with either card.

I did run into a problem, though. Both the 710 and the 730 are dual with, and I only have a single slot available, at least on this computer. I also couldn't find any difference between the 710 and the 730 when comparing them. I compared them with this: 710 and 730.
I could try and save up some more money to build a new pc altogether, though. I think that might be my best bet for now. First I'll have to take a look at my other pc, and see if I can upgrade that one.

Not sure if this comparison link from NewEgg will still work but, there is a difference between them.
The 730 had 384 cores to the 710's 192... and so on.

I'm surprised there isn't room in your case for a dual slot card. I saw pictures of your motherboard and the PCIe slot is right at the edge, but as long as the board isn't pressed up against the bottom edge of the case, the card should fit.

There are single slot variants, like this one from PNY but they are sometimes hard to find.
