CPU: i5 8400
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB

So in my country, there's an MSI OC 2060. So I have taken a look and it seems like oc 2060 is basically a 2070. This card here costs 347 w/ Delivery.

Now my questions are: 1. Will that bottleneck my CPU? 2. Is that even a good upgrade from my current GPU? 3. Or just get a 2070? (even though I think not)

By the way the actual model/brand/name is :
MSI GeForce RTX 2060 6GB Ventus OC

I'm using a 1080p60Hz display.

Your cpu is fine with this gpu. So you play at 1080p 60hz so rtx 2060 is already an overkill for that resolution/hz . If you are not planning changing the monitor i would not upgrade at all, 1060 6gb is enough for 60hz. Just to reply to your answear yes 2060 is a good upgrade from 1060 6gb but for that monitor you dont need it. I would say 2060 is for 1440p 60hz or 1080p 144hz+ and rtx 2070 for 1440p.

Yeah but what about games like Assassins Creed Odyssey? It's poorly optimised.

So you mean to say, the overclocked 2060 version matches the performance of the RTX 2070 ? Which PSU do you have ? It's a decent upgrade coming from a GTX 1060. Regarding bottleneck, that also depends on the game being played, though you shouldn't be facing any serious issues.
Yeah just search for benchmarks the 2070 is like 2-3 fps better. At least that what I have seen... I think my PSU is modular 80+ gold or something like that. I don't really know that exact model to be honest.

Then you can grab the RTX 2060. I fully understand your problem, since I'm on the same boat. I game on 1080p/60Hz on an RX 480, but some graphic demanding Games don't run very well, and there are occasional stutters, FPS drops as well.
Um one more thing, let's say I buy it. What am I gonna do with the 1060? Keep it or sell it?
