Question Will an old gpu affect a new cpu?

I am planning to do an upgrade from an A10-6800k to an i5-9600k and some other parts, and I do not currently have the money to also upgrade the gpu.
Am I going to have any problems with the i5 and my current GPU (ASUS R9 270x DirectCU OC 2GB)?

Here is a system including a decent GPU, Better SSD (500gb) and arguably a better CPU for $25 more
But you can reduce this price for not going for the best PSU but for Gold version for $50 less
