Question Will anything better than a I7-7700k work on my build?

So i made a computer 7 or 8 years ago which works great. I added and changed stuff over the years and ended up with what I have now on it. It isn't compatible with win 11 however and for some reason someone I know seems adamant that it can handle an amd or better processor despite every compatibility site telling me differently. I think he found his info on intels own site so I wanted to ask you guys who is right and why. A detailed explanation to put this to rest would be great. Thanks.

1. It absolutely cannot utilize an AMD CPU.
No way, no how.

The i7-7700k is the best CPU that will go in it. Period.
