Merry Christmas everyone. i decided this year to build a pc and 6 months on its gone great. now that the winter sales are fully underway on steam i'm considering buying ARMA 3 to play with friends. Will it run at at least 30 fps (20 fps when really hectic) when i'm playing on my pc. Im not bothered at what settings as long as the screen is watchable and the game is playable
CPU: fx 6300
GPU: R9 270x
MEMORY: 8 gb (2x4)
Thanks and have a happy new year.

Yeah it might run the fps you specified, but I see from the arma 3 forums that people with amd fx's usually don't have great performance. I would turn down ALL the settings you can and MAYBE you can achieve a solid 30 fps.

Problem is that Arma 3 is actually more optimised for a Intel/Nvidia computer (Unintentionally), so AMD generally is less optimised and suffers bad performance.
Overclocking might help a bit, a ssd usually really helps, at least from what I can read.
I would expect 10-30 fps, it will change depending on if your in a town and it's busy or not. It will definitely spike up and down but 30 fps for the most part, if it's not too busy probably will be achievable.
