Will Asus P5L-MX work with a Pentium E5300?

Will a Pentium E5300 work with this motherboard after i update the BIOS from 1004 to 1103?

E5300 CPU is not compatible, but the E6300 is.

Intel Pentium E5300 is "Wolfdale". They were introduced is 2008. Wolfdale models are not supported in that motherboard.

You can use "Conroe" family models not "Wolfdale".
Intel Core2 Duo Processor E6700 is a year 2006 model.
