Hello , I wanted to ask if B350 motherboards work fine with the Ryzen 7 2700 (Non-x) as I am planning to build a pc and where I live x470 motherboards are non-existent.
Its a catch 22-it'll work fine but only if they have a compatible BIOS. To update the bios you will need a 1st gen ryzen processor or get someone to do it for you.
Most modern B350's already have the bios update, but you can ask the people you buy it from before hand. It should have a sticker on the box saying which BIOS it has.
If it is not updated, maybe they will update it for you before you get it. They probably will do that if it's a sale!

The sticker to look for will probably say 'Ryzen 2000 Ready', just so you know.
If buying in a store you'll have greater luck checking for the sticker before you buy. Most on line stores can't check stock for you since the warehouse could be in an entirely different country. That's why it's safer to get a B450/X470 board to have assurance it works with a Ryzen 2000 processor.

Be careful of the sticker though-Even though it will say 2000 series ready most of the times it means its compatible with the 2200/2400g and not the 2600 onwards which required a newer bios revision again.

I think you will be able to update to a later BIOS with full 2600 and later support so that's not entirely true.
Without a Ryzen2000 ready BIOS you can only do it if there is a Ryzen 1000 series or AM4 Bristol Ridge APU installed.
