I currently have my 2.5" HDD in front of the front intake fan of my case but my SSD does not have any cooling. My SSD usually stays around 30c (not sure how hot it gets under load), so there's no question as to whether or not I would need cooling. However, couldn't I increase my SSD's lifespan by putting in front of the intake keeping it slightly cooler? I know I wouldn't need to, but would it be better? My fan only runs at about 1000rpm so I don't want to block too much airflow.
