will bottlenecking a gpu reduces its lifetime?

currently i have a core 2 duo E7500 @ 2.93 ghz and i am trying to get a amd R9 270x...
i've searched the web and found out that my cpu bottlenecks the amd...
i will be changing my mobo and cpu in 6 months or so...
will bottlenecking causes the gpu's lifetime to reduce??

Nope not at all! It should in theory allow the gpu to run under much less laod and therefore perhaps increase lifetime a little. However, bottlenecking is never a good thing, because it wastes the extra gpu power, and therefore your money.

Now,if I use that R7,would I bottleneck my CPU or my cpu is quite good to be
bottlenecked?
One thing,I'd *NEVER OC* my CPU.

AniAM, in your case the GPU is the bottleneck, since it is no where near powerful enough to stress your CPU, so you definitely don't need to OC your CPU, unless you get a 780 TI or something more powerful.

I don't think 'bottlenecking' is what you think it is.

A slow CPU does not reach into a fast GPU and alter it's properties. Or vice versa.
Bottlenecking simply means one part can't keep up with the rest of the system.

The Fx 8 Core processors are rated for 125 watts, and can consume between 125-150 Watts under load, and the I5's are a lot less, they are rated for 88 watts, and use less voltage. However it depends what you are going to use the processor for, if you are going to render/convert images/videos, then the FX 8 cores are better for the job, even if they do consume more power, they will save you time.

However if you are going to game on the FX 8 core processor, then the power consumption is relatively the same as the i5's, since there are very few games that actually use 8 cores to their full potential. So for gaming they are almost identical in power usage, max 15~ watts of difference when gaming.

Well... Yes. If both are at full load, The FX-8320 will consume about double the power of an i5 that matches its performance, like the i5-4690S.
