I've been trying to get an answer from SOMEONE who has used chrome tubing in their custom loop for over a few months.

I'm going to be buying copper tubing, bending it how i need it, then sending it out to get plated.

If i do this, will the chrome go inside the tubing and if so, will it flake into my system and cause issues with my water blocks getting clogged up?

Please for the love of god someone give me a straight answer with facts and experience, im going to rip my hair out in a few more days over this.

Seriously stressing out.

Solution
Tube can be chrome plated only from outside without problems. Flaking also will not be a problem if done right and without re-bending. If you have aluminum radiator(s) you may be better off with aluminum tubing which could also be plated. Aluminum and copper are poor mix.
