Will core i3 6100 3.4 ghz work on GA-H81M-S2PT?

I'm looking for build my gaming PC with EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling
and i have 2 questions:
Will core i3 6100 3.4 ghz work on GA-H81M-S2PT GIGABYTE mobo?
and is 430 W EVGA power supply enough for this build?

So no, they are not compatible. Either you need a motherboard with socket 1151 for th i3 6100, or a CPU with socket 1150 for the motherboard.

Nope, sorry. The i3-6100 is a Skylake processor, compatible with 1151-socket motherboards. The H81 is a 1150 socket motherboard. For a motherboard in your budget, look for a H110M chipset one, which will work. Here's an example:

Bear in mind that this will also require DDR4 RAM rather than DDR3.

If your budget permits I would take the i5 4460, otherwise the Xeon 1220 is also a nice option. If both too much the i3 4170 would be good:

i5/Xeon if u can, if not stick with an i3.
