From comments in BrofessorX's completed build in pcpartpicker (the third photo, third link in the post above):

"Added a aftermarket CPU cooler to keep the temps down on the CPU which was the Cryorig H7. The cooler on here was listed not to fit the case that i used. After measuring a few times I discovered i could fit a bigger tower cooler in the system than originally thought."

"I have since swapped out a few things including the cooler(my friend needed a new one), but there wasn't any clearance issues with the Cryorig H7 with the top closing. There was at least 2~3mm clearance with the lid on with the heatsink."

"It does fit! When i had the case i had a tape measure and triple checked before I even ordered it. Didn't even touch the plastic on the top panel. I would upload another picture, but another computer needed the cooler and I sold the rest of it to a friend."

now im wondering how tight the space will be behind the heatsink if I installed 2x 80mm exhaust fans...Would they be touching the heatsink? If that is the case, I would rather find a different cooler..
