Will crysis work with ati mobility radeon hd5470

hi i hav a laptop with ati mobility radeon hd 5470 graphics with win7.I hav installed crysis but it won't start at all.

it should start, definitely not play well, but it should be able to play it, do you have the latest drivers on your lappy?

"It won't start" is so vague...
What happens when it doesn't start? Do you receive any error messages? What do they say?

Are you using updated ATI drivers? If not, go to ATI.com and download and install the version for your operating system. If you are using generic drivers (Windows default drivers), you may not be able to launch the game properly. Regradless, having the current drivers will help your overall performance. i'm sure since it's a laptop the OEM, installed at least some version of the ATI driver possibly modified, but at least some for, you should updated to the latest that's available

Still, I would go to ATI and attempt to install the vanilla (not tweaked by OEM) version appropriate for the OS. Will harm nothing and may increase performance. The Radeon Mobility HD5XXX series is supported in both 32 and 64 bit versions and will inform the user upon install if they are incompatible with the notebook/laptop in question.
