I wonder if anyone can advise me if my current PSU + GPU will work with the new MOBO + CPU + RAM I hope to purchase.
Basically is my PSU good enough?
My current PSU and GPU are:-
PSU - ThermalTake PSU 850W ToughPower Modular PSU W0131RB
GPU - Nvidia GeForce GTX 580
And the MOBO + CPU + RAM I'm about to buy are:-
RAM - Crucial BLS2C8G3D1609ES2LX0CEU 16GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Ballistix Sport Memory Kit
CPU - Intel Core i7 4770K
MOBO - Asus Z87-PRO

Thanks for your comments.

My Rig is a few years old:-
Core 2 extreme qx9650
Nvidia Gefore gtx580
8GB DDR2 800 Ram
MSI P7N Diamond 775 Motherboard
ThermalTake PSU 850W ToughPower Modular PSU W0131RB

All I was concerned about was whether my PSU could handle the newer intel CPUs. If its purely just looking at the wattage then yes it can. But is there something else I need to consider. My current PSU is a discontinued model. Is there anything different to consider for the PSU from a Socket 775 and 1150?
I will look to upgrade my GPU in the future. My current GTX 580 is compatible and won't be a massive bottleneck. I know its not the fastest. But want to stagger my upgrade.
