Solution
The power supplies and motherboards on HP dc7xxx and Elite 8xxx are proprietary.

No upgrades are available....Sorry.

They don't use standard ATX power connections. The PSU is specific to only certain boards.
Measure the dimensions of the rear psu opening.
A standard ATX psu will be 150mm wide, 85 mm high and have a depth varying from 140mm to 160mm and higher.
That said Corsair CX is not great quality, tier 4 on this list:
