Will ddr4 ram work on x58a-ud3r

So i want to change my ram to 16gb ddr4 and add SSD on this rig

I7 930
X58a-ud3r
Gtx 660 ti


I know this is old rig so iam wondering if the ddr4 will work on it?

DDR4 isn't compatible ....Sorry.

Dark Lord of Wrong hasn't checked reality. Yes it will. But probably one stick only (in slot #1). I put an 8GB 3000 MHz Corsair DDR4 stick in and it works beautifully.
